La déforestation de l'Amazonie
La santé du "poumon de la planète" est depuis quelques décennies dans un état très préoccupant. Malgré les protestations des associations écologiques et un suivi précis de la communauté scientifique, la déforestation de la vallée amazonienne s'est révélée plus importante qu'auparavant entre 2001 et 2004, notamment dans l'Etat brésilien du Mato Gross. Chaque année, la déforestation en Amazonie augmente de 25%.

L'exploitation du bois, comme le défrichement à fins agricoles et l'élevage ovin, sont les principales causes de la diminution de la surface de forêt amazonienne. Ce constat est dramatique mais non irréversible si les politiques respectives des pays concernés se montrent davantage volontaires. La déforestation a causé, outre un désastre écologique, la disparition de nombreuses populations autochtones et la raréfaction de certaines espèces animales et végétales.

Le "poumon de la planète"
L'Amazonie représente à elle seule 1/3 des réserves tropicales de la planète et 60% de la surface totale de la forêt. Flore et faune tropicales se côtoient dans un milieu exceptionnel de diversité. La plus grande forêt du monde remplit également un rôle écologique très important. En effet, la pluie, après avoir été absorbée par le sol, s'évapore. Une certaine chaleur se dégage alors dans l'atmosphère. Or les tropiques reçoivent les deux tiers des précipitations mondiales. Proportionnellement, la chaleur dégagée est ainsi très importante. Les tropiques sont en effet la première source de redistribution de la chaleur sur Terre. Dans ce processus, les arbres contribuent au processus naturel en transformant le gaz carbonique en oxygène.

Des progrès très encourageants
Il est de l'intérêt de l'espèce humaine de sauvegarder ce territoire. La régénération des forêts devrait en réalité suivre un cycle de vingt cinq à trente ans, et ce rythme n'est aujourd'hui pas respecté. Plusieurs perspectives sont aujourd'hui envisagées afin de préserver ce biotope exceptionnel. Le Brésil, suivi par la Colombie ou l’Équateur, créent progressivement des réserves, inaccessibles aux sociétés d’extraction. 8 zones, d'une superficie inconnue, subsistent aujourd'hui, entièrement inexplorées par l'homme moderne. Les scientifiques ont pour leur part mis au point un système permettant de mesurer en temps réel la diminution de la superficie, grâce aux images satellites fournies par MODIS qui détectent rapidement les changements dans l'occupation du sol de l'Amazonie.

Terra preta, l'avenir des arbres amazoniens ?
L'agriculture intensive est possible dans une région de l'Amazonie, nommée "Terra preta" : cette terre, extrêmement fertile, y compris sans apport d'engrais, se renouvelle automatiquement en une vingtaine d'années si une couche de substrat de 20 cm est maintenue en permanence. Les Indiens avaient obtenu, en ajoutant du charbon à une terre pauvre, ce terreau riche en nutriments dans lequel beaucoup voient aujourd'hui une alternative pour l'industrie agro-alimentaire de ces régions : sa fertilité "naturelle" ne nécessite ainsi pas de brûler les terres, comme le prévoit la technique de l'écobuage, très utilisée actuellement. Il serait en outre un moyen d'accélérer le processus de "reforestation" des forêts amazoniennes.

Quant aux populations indiennes, elles semblent retrouver peu à peu leurs droits : en septembre dernier, une cour d'appel brésilienne a permis aux Indiens guarani ñandeva de retourner habiter Yvy Katu, après une expulsion qui aura duré près de 30 ans. Les écologistes du monde entier attendent aujourd'hui de véritables mesures sur l'exploitation du bois tropical : selon une étude récente, 80 % du bois coupé serait d'origine illégale. Si les règles sont respectées, les forêts amazoniennes pourraient se reconstituer à long terme.

What makes you think anyone would ever share his business and moneymaking secrets with you ?

1. A shared secret is not a secret, it is a contradiction to catch naive readers!

2. No one in his right mind would pass on a money making secret if it was making money for him.

3. Most online businesses are based on the fact that people procrastinate; that means they don't make clear decisions and follow through with the action till the goal is reached. In fact, most businesses are built on a bunch of losers who feed those who have a clear goal, work consistently and are focused on their goal.

When I joined my first MLM business, I was impressed by the potential and the hype; great web sites, dynamic meetings with live testimonials about huge earnings and simple business plans. I was told: you just have to go out and recruit 2 people and tell them to do the same.

Only later did I ask the question: if it's so simple, why are these people still, after 10 years of involvement, out there 'recruiting 2 people' and showing them how to do the same ?

From my own activity I had noticed: it is not difficult to recruit 2 - but to make them do as you do is very difficult. They call it duplication. Only if you duplicate success can you succeed.

See, you are told: "go get 2, that's all you need to do"....but that's not what successful people actually do. They are permanently out there, recruiting 2 more and 2 more. What they say is one thing, what they do is another.

It all boils down to read between the lines and observe successful marketers.

The next element which surprised me: I was told, just go out and distribute flyers and send some emails to friends and family in order to sell some products. Again, simple advice and a simple thing to do. My successful upline however was not distributing any flyers nor was he bothering friends and family.

He had built a website, posted to paid mailing lists, put his banner ads on some of the most popular sites like chat programs, yahoo, mp3 download programs, paid for news paper ads and radio spots...while I was distributing flyers on the parking-lot of shopping malls to promote some weight-loss formula or work from home business opportunity.

Yeah, I was a great student and I did what I was told to do, to the letter. And my upline was very happy with my disciplined approach to follow the plan.

The plan was his plan, his plan for me. Not my plan to grow big and develop my business. It was his plan for me to build his business.

It took me a while to notice that by sticking to his plan I would never be able to do as well as he did. We were not fighting in the same category. We did not have the same means nor did we use swords of the same length to fight our way through to success.

I now started to understand the usual question during the prospecting process which I had to answer to: 'how much are you ready to invest into your new business'. That question was basically about the means I was ready to give myself to contribute to my upline's success. The more I would contribute to his success, the bigger the left-overs for me.

Of course my successful upline was also the slave of someone else, but this was no consolation for me. My decision was clear: I want my own business and I want to collect all the rewards for my work.

I went out, got a server, learned to design web pages, bought programs, tools and started selling e-books, scripts, splash pages and so on. As I kept learning, my business became more and more sophisticated and rewarding.

Ce business est plus facile que tout business qui vend un produit physique.

C’est un produit utile, parce qu’il cumule instruction ainsi que la base de tout on-line business indépendant, à savoir un serveur, votre marque et une possibilité de revente à des prix que l'on peut définir soit même.

Evidement, le business n'est pas fini avec la vente du Business Pack : avec le progrès, le client aura envie d'utiliser son serveur a des fins diverses.

Comme : faire de la pub pour son propre business principal, créer des pages splash, monter une boutique en ligne, etc…

Ceci donne-la possibilité, de vendre des scripts, des modèles de site, etc…

Je ne connais aucun business qui a du succès à long terme sans créer sa propre identité et base de marketing.

Plus tôt les gens comprennent cela, plus tôt ils commenceront à travailler pour eux-mêmes et à gagner de l'argent.

Vous aurez certainement des questions, dans ce cas prenez rendez-vous avec la personne qui vous à invité afin que vous puissiez participer à des questions réponses dans notre conférence-room avec les professionnels compétents dans ce domaine.

lettre ouverte à Monsieur le Président de la République Française

URGENT ! Il y a 60 ans, les Etats-Unis lançaient les deux premières bombes atomiques de l'histoire de l'humanité contre les villes d'Hiroshima et de Nagasaki, au Japon. Le monde entrait dans l'ère de la terreur nucléaire. La fin de la Guerre froide sembla un temps promettre un avenir débarrassé de cette menace. Malheureusement, on assiste aujourd'hui au phénomène inverse : loin de disparaître, l'armement nucléaire prolifère, et la France encourage le phénomène au lieu de le prévenir. Aidez-nous à contraindre la France à tenir son engagement de désarmer !

Monsieur le Président de la République,

Copie à:
- Mme le Ministre de la Défense - Michèle Alliot-Marie ;
- M. l'Ambassadeur spécial à la conférence d'examen du Traité de Non-Prolifération - Francois Rivasseau.

La Conférence de révision du Traité de Non-Prolifération Nucléaire s'est ouverte le 2 mai 2005 à New York. Malheureusement, ce traité qui constitue à l'heure actuelle le seul cadre international de lutte contre la prolifération nucléaire, traverse une crise importante : de plus en plus de pays se dotent ou sont en capacité de détenir rapidement l'arme nucléaire ; les puissances nucléaires développent de nouveaux programmes d'armements au lieu de désarmer, conformément aux engagements qu'elles ont pris dans le Traité en son article VI.

Je constate que la France contribue très largement à cette crise : elle s'oppose aux côtés des Etats-Unis à toute idée de désarmement nucléaire, ignore délibérément les décisions prises lors des précédentes conférences de révision du TNP, et viole ouvertement ses engagements à désarmer. En effet :

- La France développe une nouvelle génération de missiles nucléaires plus destructeurs que jamais (programme M51 à l'Ile Longue, Brest)
- La France mène un programme de recherche ("laser Mégajoule", à Bordeaux) qui pourrait ouvrir la voie à la fabrication d'armes nucléaires offensives, ou "mini-nukes".

En outre la France continue à vendre des technologies nucléaires "civiles" qu'elle sait parfaitement convertibles en nucléaire militaire. Aucun pays détenteur, ou potentiellement détenteur de l'arme atomique, n'a pu l'acquérir sans transferts de technologies "civiles" des puissances nucléaires.

En conséquence, je vous demande, Monsieur le Président de la République :

- de confirmer publiquement l'engagement signé en 2000 par la France, comme par les autres puissances nucléaires, d'accomplir sans équivoque "l'élimination totale de leurs arsenaux nucléaires".

- de réviser, conformément à cet engagement, la stratégie nucléaire française en stoppant tout programme de développement de nouvelles armes nucléaires.

- de soutenir l'adoption d'un moratoire immédiat sur la production, le transport et l'utilisation de matières utilisables pour l'armement nucléaire et à reprendre immédiatement les négociations à la Conférence sur le Désarmement de l'ONU pour la création d'un traité complet et vérifiable sur les matières fissiles.

- de soutenir l'adoption d'un moratoire immédiat sur la construction et la mise en oeuvre de nouveaux sites de retraitement et d'enrichissement d'uranium et de plutonium, et de définir un calendrier d'interdiction définitive des processus d'enrichissement de l'uranium et de retraitement nucléaire à des fins civiles et militaires.

- de lancer un véritable débat public sur les enjeux mondiaux de prolifération nucléaire et sur le rôle que la France doit jouer en matière de non prolifération.

Monsieur le Président, vous avez porté haut la voix de la France pour éviter la guerre en Irak. Je vous demande de continuer à uvrer pour la paix et la sécurité mondiale qui ne pourront voir le jour sans désarmement nucléaire global et total, sous contrôle strict des Nations Unies.

Recevez, Monsieur le Président, l'assurance de ma haute considération et de ma vigilance pacifiste.

Under the title "a million Europeans demand the exit of nuclear power", many associations, trade unions and European groups start a petition campaign all over the European Union starting on April 26, 2004, the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.

The goal is to collect a million signatures to convince the European countries to take the following measures without delay :

- to stop or prevent the construction of new nuclear power plants and facilities in the European Union,
- to launch a plan to abandon nuclear power within the European Union,
- to invest massively in energy saving and the development of renewable energies,
- to repeal the Euratom Treaty which massively supports nuclear power in Europe by means of public funding.

Only these measures will make it possible to fight against nuclear danger and global warming at the same time. The signatories ask the heads of governments of EU-member states to join the initiative for a revisions-conference on the EURATOM-treaty and to start this conference with the aim to end the promotion of nuclear-power within the European Union and end all nuclear initiatives. Besides, the signatories demand of the European Commission to stop any new initiative for a law/directive/council decision based on the EURATOM-treaty, to start a initiative to end the council decisions 90/212/EURATOM and 94/179/EURATOM concerning EURATOM-loans.

Signatures will be collected from april 26, 2004 until april 26, 2006

The result of the petition will be published during a great event that will take place between now and April 26, 2006.

Background :
The number of "one million" is based on an article from the draft of the European Constitution. Article I-47 says that "one million citizens who are nationals of a significant number of Member States may take the initiative of inviting the Commission, within the framework of its powers, to submit any appropriate proposal .... for the purpose of implementing the Constitution. European laws shall determine the provisions for the procedures ...."
The European Constitution is not in force yet. But we are deeply convinced that it will be a strong political signal to be the first group presenting an initiative that was signed by one million Europeans.

Sécheresse : insolation pour le nucléaire ?
Vendredi 17 juin 2005 : le Réseau "Sortir du nucléaire" publie un dossier très attendu intitulé "Sécheresse et centrales nucléaires". Le parc nucléaire français, déjà ébranlé par la canicule 2003, passera-t-il la sécheresse 2005 ? Passera-t-il les canicules et sécheresses à venir, de plus en plus fréquentes et intenses ? En effet, contrairement à la propagande officielle, ce n'est pas le nucléaire qui s'attaque au réchauffement climatique, mais bien l'inverse !
A noter : mardi 21 juin et lundi 27 juin, le Réseau "Sortir du nucléaire" attaque en justice EDF pour les rejets illégaux de ces centrales nucléaires

Les parlementaires vont-ils tuer l'éolien ?
Mardi 21 juin 2005 : une Commission mixte "députés/sénateurs" va tenter de trouver un accord sur les dispositions de la LOE (Loi d'orientation sur l'énergie). Les députés pro-nucléaires, menés par M. Ollier, tentent d'imposer des amendements "anti-éoliens". Une fois n'est pas coutume, c'est le Sénat qui est le plus ouvert puisque ce sont des Sénateurs qui tentent de s'opposer à la mise à mort de l'éolien !
A noter : le Réseau "Sortir du nucléaire" publie sur son site un document qui montre que les prétextes des anti-éoliens ne tiennent pas...

Mines d'uranium : la Cogéma condamnée ?
Vendredi 24 juin 2005 : la Cogéma compat devant le tribunal correctionnel de Limoges pour "pollution, abandon ou dépôt de déchets contenant des substances radioactives". Cette affaire est amblématique des ravages occasionnés par l'industrie nucléaire dès le débaut de la filière, c'est à dire l'extraction de l'uranium. Après le Limousin, la Cogéma a contaminé le Niger et s'apprête à en faire de même en Australie dans une zone protégée ou vivent des tribu aborigènes, promises au sacrifice...

Iter : la fusion nucléaire va désintégrer... les finances publiques !
Mardi 28 juin 2005 - A Moscou, une réunion internationale pourrait désigner le site de Cadarache (Bouches-du-Rhône) pour recevoir Iter, le réacteur de fusion nucléaire... qui ne produira jamais d'électricité.

Alors que les USA préparent leur retrait du projet ITER, et que les japonais nen finissent plus dobtenir des compensations en échange de leur désistement, il apparaît plus que jamais que le projet ITER est une impasse dans laquelle lUnion européenne, et particulièrement la France, se sont engagées de façon irresponsable. Avant que dimportantes sommes financières naient été gaspillées, il est encore temps pour la France de renoncer.

Divers "débats publics" sont annoncés (réacteur EPR, réacteur ITER, déchets nucléaires, débat des parlementaires sur l'éolien), découpant la problématique énergétique "en tranches" pour mieux dégager le nucléaire de ses responsabilités et masquer ses conséquences irréversibles sur l'environnement et la santé publique.

Le Réseau "Sortir du nucléaire" appelle la population à prendre en main son avenir et organise deux manifestations nationales dans les mois à venir :

- le 24 septembre 2005, à Bar-le-Duc (près du site de déchets nucléaires de Bure) : contre l'enfouissement des déchets nucléaires... et pour arrêter d'en produire.

- les 15 et 16 avril 2006 : à Cherbourg (Manche), près de Flamanville, site choisi pour la construction du réacteur nucléaire EPR. Ce sera aussi les 20 ans de Tchernobyl : une raison supplémentaire de se mobiliser pour, au plus vite, sortir de l'âge du nucléaire.

C'est tout le monde du vivant, végétal, animal et humain, qui a besoin de nous. Agissons, il en est encore temps !
